Hello everyone,

I'm a 2019 applicant but I have a quick question - I do meet all the income requirements for three years. As per CRA, Line 150 needs to be considered. I don't have EI or anything. However, I have deducted $2,000 of RRSP, if CIC considers after RRSP then I'm off by $500. Is CIC going to check income after RRSP deduction? Can someone please help?
No, IRCC will not deduct your $2,000 RRSP in determining your income eligibility. I have myself used approx. same amount of RRSP in one of the years and I was approved as a sponsor.

Hello Friends- I am based in Brampton/Toronto-ON.Can anybody with personal experience share a good lawyer/law firm based in Brampton/Mississaua/Toronto to hire for medical inadmissibility appeal . Though we havent heard back the final result from CIC but need to prepare in advance as my Dads creatinine levels have been high resulting into multiple visits to the panel physician (So far, he has never been on dialysis though). Also suggest any other steps that might be helpful in preparation for medical inadmissibility appeal . Many thanks.
How high was the creatin level? Do you have Principal Applicant and Dependent too? if so then what does your GC Key account say? Medical passed? When was the first medical done for your Dad? Based on this , i can advise you further steps

Thanks a lot forthe reply and for the questions:-

My father is the Principal applicant and mother the secondary applicant./Creatinine levels have been around 6.0 for my father.
First/Initial medical request was on Feb 28th,2019 and they did the prelimnary medical tests for both (father and mother) on March 11th 2019 followed by the furtherence tests for my dad(only) which were completed within March 30-Apr 7. There was an AFB Sputum test for which the cullture was processed on March 30th for 90 days and the subsequent chest X ray with a visit ot the physician was also done and submitted on July 15th . Sfther that there has not been any information.

No information on GC key updates as we moved the application via an Immigration consultant.

Please advise further
Thanks

Thank you for the reply, creatin levels are very high, visit this link https://www.healthlinkbc.ca/health-topics/aa65427 to see if you can get further knowledge, my Dads was 1.56 and I was worried, not from immigration perspective but from his health perspective, sent him in to doctor to do additional tests, sonography and blood test again within 3 days, the creatin came back at 1.29 and sonography cam normal. The other thing that effects the creatin level are the prescription meds and amount of protein and salt intake.
Does you Dad have kidney issues that are known? if not then , I would say the creatin is high due to medicines and lifestyle including food intake.
Does he have previous years annual medical reports? does it show such high creatin level? Is this a genetic issue? runs in the family? All these questions will help you to file your paperwork if a procedural fairness letter comes in.

Get reports from your family doctor, specialists etc and keep them in handy. Also another thing to remember is that unless the annual heath costs do not exceed 21K before PR then they would not decline.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Yulia..........Status Update.....!

Medical Requested: July 09, 219
Medical Completed (Parents in Canada): July 10, 2019
Medical Completed (Brother in Pakistan): July 23, 2019

Application now says following:
Review of medical results - Review of medical result
July 27, 2019 You passed the medical exam.

I don't know if this is for both parents and brother (dependent). As my brother just did his medical 4 days ago on July 23, 2019
Can someone comment on this. Any idea if this medical pass is for all the applicants or individual basis

Thanks,

E-cas does not say anything if I use my Mother's (Principal Applicant's Spouse) and Brother's (Dependent Children) UCI ID

But, if i I use my Father's (Principal Applicant) UCI ID, it says following:
Medical results have been received.

I believe that this Medical Results have been received and Medical Passed is for all the applicants. Not individual basis

Agreed, if it says passed then it is for all - PA+ DEPS. I found that my Mothers (PA) was submitted 5 days before my Dad's (DEP), however my Moms GC Key changed to Medicals passed after 4 days of submission for my Dad, however ecase status still says medical received.

Yeah same here.
My Parents Dad (PA) and Mom (Dep Spouse) did medical almost 15 days ago and definitely their results have been received already
Brother (Dep Child) did on 23rd, which is just 4 days.

Question: What is at line 150 in NOA. I believe CIC check amount at line 150

for RRSP, I think you mean you had contributed $2000 to RRSP. But that is for tax deferred (CRA) purposes. Still you should consider original income. You contributed to RRSP after earning. That earning is your income. So should not deduct $2000 from your income.
