Biometric Submission - 8th July
Biometric Completed & Medical passed - 23rd July
Original Passport Request - 25th July

I got the original passport request at almost the same time I got the medical passed. It may be a coincidence, but it could be something to look out for.

Wow you’re lucky. I submitted my application on 27th June and gave my biometrics on 3rd July and still haven’t received the passport request just the correspondence letter.

I purposefully kept my application simple with a single page letter of explanation which gave details on points I though needed clarification. I don't know of that helped or not. I am planning to get CAIPS once I reach Canada and see what was reason for approval, if any.

I had a similar scene. Both messages came one after another, in 30 mins.

Biometrics- 6th July
Medical Approved and request for Passport- 26th July
