3600+, 451 and above candidates left in the pool after today’s draw. Considering a daily average of at least 200 candidates, we will have another 2800 candidates in 451+ range from this day until the 7th of August.

This means we that will have ~6400, 451 plus candidates on 7th of August.

This 6k+ has been a regular pattern since June for scores 451 and above. Only a b2b draw will break this trend. Otherwise we are looking at 0.5 to 1 point decrease in every draw going forward.

What is a b2b draw?

A lawyer in canada has offered LMIA for administrative position in health care field for 16000 CAD.
I am a nursing graduate. Should I take it?
My CRS is 435 and I need to raise my score. I already have CLB 9 so there is nothing much I can do to improve my score except to consider this LMIA option.
Please help!!

If you have a good offer, great, congratulations. But keep in mind that $16,000 to $20,000 CAD for an individual is basically living beneath the poverty line in Canada. You may have to make some very serious budgeting decisions on that salary depending on where you live.

Hi! New here

CRS- 456

I’m a bit skeptical about the high CRS profiles that enter the pool few days or hours before the draw. I think they are responsible for the high CRS cutoffs. There are rumors that people are currently doing illegal stuff to get high CRS like false claims of 3yrs work experience and more. I think this is selfish on their part. Here’s hoping CIC fishes illegal applications out soon enough.
Yes a lot of tricks and deals are going on in Canada especially in Toronto to get PR. It is definitely not fair to the candidates who actually deserve success.

I will tell you my story. Me and two of my friends were in the same course and graduated together from diploma. I graduated with 98% marks and got job immediately in northern Ontario in NOC B. My friends didn't so they moved to Toronto. They both paid cad $20000 and got fake job offers for manager positions. They are both PR now and I am still struggling.

Oh no!!! That’s a whole 50points.
This isn’t right.
I think CIC needs to be on the alert. People are trying to beat the system and this is affecting genuine applications. The recent trend in high CRS scores is baffling.
Maybe someone should raise a petition alerting CIC of this trend.

Cic did caught a buisness recently which was issuing fake job offers for money. CIC got suspicious as they kept changing their managers again and again. So they took their licence now and cancelled PRs and even citizenships of people who claimed points using that buisness. Hopefully this will be a lesson for others.

It really depends when this story took place. If it was in 2017 it was actually worth 600 points. Also sometimes you do not do the job your papers do state, but you use the paperwork to inflate it for more points for Canadian work experience.
