Hi guys,

I really need some advice as I almost can't breathe now. I just called the agent and asked if there is anything red flag or any doc I needed to provide, she told me no and my application is still in progress. So I ended with asking eligibility, criminality, and security as what I always did in previous calls. However, she told me that eligibility is failed:eek:. I was so shocked cuz I believed that I had provided everything and both my immigration lawyer and I had checked multiple times. After my medical and criminality passed, I didn't get any additional doc request or procedural fairness letter. When I asked her why and further detail, she could not answer. She also said this is not the final decision yet, and she would send them a request to get the application's updated status and ask me to contact in 30 days. I start to suspect if they are really able to see what is going on or not.

Last time, I called on July 12th, and the agent told my status was the same as previous: eligibility was in progress, criminality passed and security didn't start yet. Also, I didn't get my notes yet as I ordered them on June 12th.

I am planning to order the notes for another time and call them this afternoon again.

Any thoughts?:(

Congrats to everyone receiving PPR

Anyone who perhaps have the same update?

Medical: passed
Biometrics: completed
Criminality: passed
Security: not started
Eligibility: not started
(this is according to the CIC agent who helped me today)

AOR 10 Jan 2019

Ordered notes yesterday.

:(
Information from CiC call center is not always up to date or updated..

I have seen candidates in this forum - previous month - recently - was told by CIC agents the same status and got ppr the next week ..

So hang in there and do not loose hope ..

I am in the same boat except eligibility - rr ..

Hey guys,

I called the CIC today. When i asked about my application status, the lady on the other end told me that my case is in queue for review by an officer. Can anyone help me with exactly what this means and how long this will take to be reviewed? Also, is there a need to worry about a review? My AOR is 20th Jan, visa office Ottawa. Thanks
Ulka

These days - apps are getting delayed in general over 6 months(except the lucky ones who gets it in short 4 months) because of the volume of applications in process..

Also most of the files are under same status of "in queue for review by an officer"" - so do not worry ..

Order gcms notes / write to MP / raise CSE emails through webform and lastly call

Hey guys,

Spoke to the CIC agent yesterday to ask about the status of my application. She told me there hasn't been much activity but it's currently awaiting for review by officer. As I've read above there's no timeline for this but is this the last step of the application? This means that Eligibility, Background checks and whatnot have all been started / done? I also asked which office my application is at and she said Sydney Nova Scotia. I looked through this thread to see if anyone else is but I couldn't find it. Does anyone know if this office is typically fast / slow?

Thank you and wish you all good luck with your PPR!

Thank you so much for your reply kzeed12!

It's the anxiety that takes a toll and makes you think the unthinkable and worry for no reason.

But does in queue for review and RR mean the same thing?

Hi all,
I am writing for the first time, would b grateful if anybody could put some light on my situation. I a little confused about this. Kindly suggest.
My AoR is january 25 and tomorrow is the last day of the 6 months wait period. I have not been asked for the bio metrics as yet even i have paid the fee. Some suggested that it is from their front n cic will send the dates later when i ll have the PPR.
I dont know what to do now. Is this normal? Is there anybody facing the same issue?
Same here..AOR 27 jan..still waiting for BIL while others are waiting for PPR hope v got it soon !! Plz update if u get the same..good luck

You think that i should order my gmcs notes right now?

Yesterday, just the biometric's date was added for me.

Hope you and all of members good luck !

Hey!
Congratulations to everyone who received their PPRs!
I emailed to Mr. Goodale and his reply states that eligibility and criminality passed.
Security yet to be initiated.

I need to know what comes under eligibility.. my POF, job experience and police clearance? Are they passed?

Please help

I dont understand why dont they seek clarification or request for additional documents if some info is missing or conflicting. May be you can try reaching out to MP Goodale to see if their office can get more details. Coz GCMS notes will take lot of time. Even there we are seeing delays.

Rest experts can comment.

Buddy, most of us are over 6months but slowly people are getting their PPRs

Remember, the date is arbitrary and you could possibly get your PPR much sooner. Never lose hope and don’t get all negative. You are not alone! Trust me
True, everyone is living on hopes. But worrying part is if Date on the bar can be extended once then it can be extended again :(
