Hey guys, I’ve checking and re gathering all my documents getting (a bit too) ahead on Wednesday’s draw. My wife is Costa Rican she moved to Nicaragua in March 2018 (where I’m from and where we currently live). I lived in Costa Rica from 2012-2014, we both already have a Costa Rican police certificate which were issued on Dec 28 2018. I´ve been back to Costa Rica after that date once for 3 weeks and my wife has been back twice for about 20 days, do you guys think we should get new police certificate given the issue date of the ones we have??

Hi, you don't need another one, the one you have will work. CIC website states that it should be dated after your last stay of 6 months in a row:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

Hi Guys...
What are the chances of score touching 454 in the upcoming draws?
I have got the OINP nomination. I am confused whether to proceed further with it or wait for EE CRS score to touch 454.. All suggestions would be valuable and are welcome...

One thing to note, I believe the NOI is valid for 45 days. You can wait a few draws (July 24, August 7) to see what the trend is on the cutoff score before deciding. If it doesn't appear to be trending down towards 454 fast enough, I would recommend responding to NOI which would all but guarantee 600+ points for you, if approved.

I'm at 456 & still decided to respond to my NOI on May 31 because at the time the score jumped to 470 and looked like it would take a while to drop, it has currently gone down to 460 & is hopefully trending downwards, but nobody truly knows.

Good luck!

Thanks guys for the precious advice... I am also planning to do the same....

But there is one point to consider... When the 31st May NOI people will get their 600 points and a draw will happen, then the CRS score is expected to shoot up.. I believe in that case 454 will be a game to reach.... Please correct me if I am wrong.. ...

You're right.

Happened back in February when it shot up to 457 because of the OINP approvals from November 2018 - January 2019 NOI's.
Same thing in May when the score went up to 470 was due to the previous NOI approvals prior.

In my opinion, if you have the money, I would go the PNP route; although, I'd still say, wait for the next 2 draws at least, you have 45 days, so you will still have time to apply if you have to, except the score is dropping in which case you can wait for general draw.

Valid Passport and one Utility bill is required. Your Brothers Canadian passport will have parents name.
Canadian passport do not have parents name. My birth certificate has only Dad's name without surname and my brother's birth certificate has both parent names and my dad's name on it has the surname as well. My brother's cancelled indian passport and my indian passport have the same mismatch. I am confused, do I need to provide them explanation for the missing surname of my dad on my certificate and passport?

When your OINP application gets approved, you get an additional 600 points which basically guarantees you an ITA in the next draw.

Please try as much as possible to give accurate information.

The high CRS in February and May was due to longer intervals between draws.

pnp nominations played little or no role in the scores.

You’re saying that all the NOIs that got approved didn’t have an impact as well?
