CoPR waiting time

Has anyone any idea of the waiting time for the Confirmation of PR letter once everything (photographs, envelopes, etc.) has been sent to Ottawa?

Thank you. What is making me feel a bit anxious about this section is that there was no update on my account online. Usually I would receive an email saying I have a notification, etc. but this was a straight email from IRCC requesting passport and photos, etc. Why is there no update in my online account? Does this email clarify that my PR has been approved?

Hi, did you try giving a call to IRCC to confirm the authenticity of the email you receieved? and btw congrats on your PPR :)

in my case, it said approved after visa stamping the passport... once they mailed out, they updated the account with CoPR details on. I think the significant step is when you do your landing. recently, seems like some people got rejected due to misrepresentation in front of the officer.

SO far all these is good sign... so no worry much.. i dont get email too. i just checked once a day.

No, I did not call anyone. I was weary about it at first but then I asked some friends who received the same email and had got their CoPR letter, so I assumed it was legit. Just strange that we would not receive an update on our account. So in your opinion, is my PR approved?

Looks like, because I have heard stories where you get your CoPR and even then the online account doesnt get updated. If I were you, I would give a call to the IRCC, in 30 minutes you would know the exact truth.

So I finally got through to the IRCC. They have informed me that my PR has been approved :), but there is a backlog of issuing the CoPR letter. If I don't have anything by this time next week I should call them again.

Nice to hear from someone official that it has been approved.
