Hiiii,
Good luck for your application :) Do you have any idea of when is the next draw?

Hello,

I really do not have any idea,

21st May, i create the express entry profile and 22nd i received the NOI. Before receiving this NOI, i did not know about this stream and pnp. I just applied EE and get the NOI randomly. I hope you will get it as soon as possible.

Good luck

Your timeline is very similar to me:

NOI Received: 22 May 2019
Application Submitted: 05 July 2019 (Last day)

But the status is still "Submitted" as of today (16 July). Should I be worry ?

Hi Bluetung,

I do not think you need to be worried, because FSSW applicants are experiencing delay and slowing down since mid-June, because Ontario has opened up new streams and distributed many NOIs around this period which caused delays later on.

That is to say, people are experiencing longer duration between /submitted to assessment/, especially /DIP to nomination/, as other FSSWers told me.

Hope this helps, and keeps us informed about your case's update.

Best wishes,

D.

Thanks Dooneen,

It's still "Submitted" but i just received email from OINP telling me to submit some additional documents.
At least know that my case are being processed.

Cheers.

Hey guys do you think that there will be any other OINP French stream draws this year? I hope so because last year there were more than 1600 and this year it's only about 550 so far. So your thoughts?

Hi, in my opinion, there would be a French stream draw around September 3 2019. But this is only personal guess, there is no official guarantee.
Reasoning : from 7 Feb to 22 May, there is 105 days (=45 days to submit application + 60 days to approve application). so 105 days after 22 May i.e. by 3 Sept, there will be no pending case under French speaking stream for OINP, then it would be the time to trigger the draw.

Interesting reasoning, it completely makes sense. Though most people think that Ontario is done with the NOIs as it reached its quota for the year. Let's hope for the best.

I really hope there is a new draw in september, since I have until 04 oct to accept or decline nova scotia's LOI

Do you think this delay on draws has something to do with elections? There hasn't been any new one for almost a month (not french speaking stream though)

MedKad1, I thought they still had a few nominations to issue, according to their website:

Am I wrong? :)
  • Ontario received an allocation of 6,650 nominations and additional 250 nominations specifically for temporary foreign workers in intermediate skilled occupations (National Occupational Classification [NOC] - Skill Level C) through the federal government’s NOC C initiative
  • as of August 9, 2019, 4,494 nominations have been issued
