Can I sponser my wife if I'm on vacation for 5 months in India?

Just want to say thank you in advance.

I'm holding a Canada PR and I'm in India for a long vacation and got register marriage on June 28.
Could you please let me know if there is any rule that we can't sponsor wife while holding a PR and on 5 months long vacation in India?

I'm on a vacation now. Trying to apply PR for my wife. My file will be from QC province.

You also mention you registered your marriage. You are expected to have had the ceremony as well. As previously said you must be in Canada during the sponsorship period or your application will be denied.

No - you can't. You'll need to wait until you've returned to Canada after your vacation before you'll be able to sponsor her for PR.
