What kind of medical care is the asylum applicant's medical insurance? Is it MSP?

If you are a refugee claimant you will be covered by interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) and if your status changed to a protected person you will be able to get your provincial plan ether MSP in B.C or OHIP in Ontario.

FYI IFHP has more coverage than provincial insurance.
