Aor: 11th july'18
Ip1 n mep:27th july'18
Long wait for 11 months
In meanwhile ordered gcms, called cic, got to know that m review required for funds.
Email from Ralph's office in oct'18 confirmed the same.6 months timeline for average processing time crossed in Jan 2019.
May'2019:sent authorization letter (upfront) for funds signed by husband, thinking it might accelerate the file.but no movement.kept on raising cse n calling cic every week to get updates.
9th june 2019: med expired
19 June,2019: emailed Ralph's office
20th June,2019: got remedical request
21st june,2019: adr fr pcc n schedule a

4th July,2019: moved to Ip2

I just got a ghost update on my account. I actually can't believe it, this is the first bit of action on my account since about September of last year. My medicals have always been "You passed the medical exam on [whatever date it was]". That didn't change but my medicals are set to expire soon. Does anyone know if you get a ghost update before they request re-medicals? If not then I may actually see PPR before the one year mark but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Finally got the email after 350 days. This group has been a huge support. Hoping for the best for all the others. For those who've sent in their passports, how much time is being given now? 6 months or the expiry of the remedicals? Thanks.
Hi,
Congrats.

Wats your VO?

As you are Inland, your medicals will be extended and Generally, they don't ask for re medicals...You get a ghost update for this event...

Ah ok thanks. SO it's probably just a ghost update for my medicals getting extended. Well that sucks. Here was me hoping my eligibility finally got passed.

Hi Sona

How did you come know that they extended your medicals for another year?
I mean how did you come to know the date? Could you please share.

Those who recenty had an update casued by medical expiry, please post your timeline. lets see how many of us are expecting further move!
My medical expired on 30th June, update was on 2 July, medical changed to "you do not need...". Called IRCC immediately, agent said "will put a note on my case so officer has to respond", yet I called IRCC yesterday again and was told background verification is still ongoing, agent confirmed she could see the note on my case though.

My medical expired on : 7th June
Status updated to : you don't need a medical exam
Request for medicals received on 12th June
Completed medical on 29th June
Now back in the waiting game.

I just need help in understanding should I be uploading anything ? Like the acknowledgement letter from the hospital etc.
My agent said there is no need. But I am confused since some respondents in similar forums like our have mentioned about submitting document post remedical.

Hi Buddy,
Yes you should go ahead and upload the acknowledgement medical letter from the hospital via webform. Waste no further time, upload it fast and see what happens. I have a friend that did the medicals and didn't upload that acknowledgement letter and got a second request for remeds (and was advised to have it done in 60 days - because they were assuming he hasn't done the remeds) but he called cic phone agents to let them know he already did medicals and they told him to upload whatever paper he got from the hospital before he got the medicals passed. So upload that letter via webform.
