I would advise to contact your MP in your area to represent you in CIC for your application.

I Ordered CSIS notes, they mention almost nothing there. When I called, they said background security still pending. Criminality check in Canada is finalized though.
Yeah, to be quite honest until your security clearance is complete (the call centre will confirm it when you ask them, as will the MP’s office), there isn’t much you can do. Security is one of those things that allows them to delay it as long as they want
