The same city as you, apparently!

+1 on the speed and efficiency. Mine too is back @Vfs bangalore in 8 days (Submitted on 20th and is back today). Unfortunately weekend came at the wrong time, will post updates after i collect mine on Monday
btw where did you initially submit your passport? I mean which city?
9 to 5.

Anyone here collected their passports personally @vfs bangalore? If so what are the timings for pick up?

Hi Guys,

Question for the experts refers to the application of a friend.

This friend of mine had a common law relationship back in Brazil but they broke up in 2016 but never got legally separated. He came to Canada in 2017, alone, as a student and then applied to PR in 2018. He stated himself as single considering the fact that he has no intention to engage back in the relationship and he is alone in Canada.

When he analyzed his GCMS Notes he saw a review required indicating his Previous Relationship (that was not included in the application).

Do you think that he should raise a CSE upfront sending the common-law document? He has no intention to include her in the application since, as I said, they are not together anymore.

How he should proceed? Of course, he cannot travel to Brazil to cancel the relationship in a Notary Office. Important to note that he declared funds more than enough (around 120,000 CAD) so he is not taking any advantage from this situation.

Any advice is much appreciated.
Hey! I kind have a similar situation here.
Living in Brazil, but not being Brazilian.
We have a uniao estavio but we have been living together for less than a year. For the Canadian law we do not have a common law. I believe I dont need to tell them about it.

Hi Guys,

Called IRCC, person known as Maya picked the call, she told me Eligibility, Criminality is passed, security in progress, you should hear in a month or earlier for final update. Also, they said to give total 2 weeks to any document submitted

Exactly, I guess if you do not register your relationship here and do not have plans to include this person on your application then it should not configure a big issue (in my understanding). Presuming the fact that you're not intentionally "hiding" a person for a better CRS score or something like that. If the Officers understand that you did not deliberate misrepresented yourself, I guess it is ok, but anyway it is always good to check to not incur in an unnecessary mistake.

Hi all, hoping someone can help me please !

I rang IRCC today and was told by an agent that my eligibility had been passed a few days previously. About 5 hours later I received an update in my account with an ADR for Schedule A Background Declaration form IMM 5669. I'm a bit confused as I thought my eligibility was already passed so not sure why they need this form, has me a little worried. I have a few questions regarding to form if anyone could please help it would much appreciated !

- The form in their email won't open on my Macbook PDF reader even though its the most up to date version, the only form I could find online that would open only has 5 lines in personal history, where you have to list all of your personal activity for the past 10 years, any recommendations on what to do ? Can I just print the form off and scan it with an additional page added with my personal history ? I'm just worried as they seem very strict on re iterating that if the form is not filled out properly it may lead to refusal etcccc. I'm 200 days in & really trying to avoid any more delays / a refusal.

- Also this form seems to be all information I have already given them, does any know why they ask for it ? I'm literally copying & pasting info from my original app into it so they're not getting any new info to make their decision..

Hello Guys,

After a long wait of 196 days we have just received the Ready for Visa/Golden Mail at 3.12am IST

AOR Dec 13, 2018
Medicals Jan 23, 2019
IP2 June 28, 2019
PPR June 29, 2019

We did not have any updates till the change of IP2. Please note that we did not receive any email for the IP2 change. Only the profile/account was updated and the background status stated as "We are processing your background check"

We had 3 calls and 2 GCMS notes requested between the wait. The agents always told us that the process/verifications were in process and we needed to wait.
The first set of GCMS notes only showed medicals cleared and nothing else started. The second set is yet to be received.

Please note we did not do the process through any agent.

Lastly request you all to also keep a check on your secondary emails as one of my friend recieved his PPR on his secondary email and not his main/primary email.

I thank you all for the constant update and support showed here. This was the only thing keeping me sane during the painful wait.
Wishing you all the best and may you all recieve the emails soon.

I shall be around and in this forum for any help.

Got the mail for submission of visa. same day as IP2. Can anyone guide me on the next steps?
@sjamz You need to take the print of the email along with your original passports and two copies of the same. 2 photos as per Canadian specifications would be needed too.
Visit the nearest VFS office and submit it to them within 30 days of the email.
There is no need for prior appointment to be taken and please note there are basic charges for the same.
If you are in Mumbai the centre for the same is at Mahalaxmi. Or else you can google or call them up for the office address.
