I have collected my passport and CoPR, and I am v impressed by the speed and efficiency of the VFS-NDVO combo. My counterfoil (visa) and CoPR were printed by NDVO/IRCC Delhi within a day of receiving my passport, which I have back in my hands in eight days all told.

I have some questions for people who have been through this already:
1. For people who need visas, does your counterfoil also not have a picture? I'm so used to Schengen and other visas that have pictures of me staring back that it was strange to see nothing in the space where there ought to be my handsome mug.
2. Did they glue on one picture to the IRCC copy of the CoPR and return the second picture unattached? What does this mean? Will the second one be collected by the immigration officer at the point of landing?
2.a. Both the pictures I submitted have the details of the studio on the back, plus name, DOB and date of picture. Could it be that my second picture was returned because they need one that's totally blank on the back? (I actually have several Canada-sized pictures to spare from the June 2019 and December 2018 batches, which I intend to bring with me to Canada.)
3. Does this mean the picture has been accepted and is unlikely to be rejected at the time of processing the PR card?
4. Were you curious to see "Surveillance Code 1" mentioned on your CoPR? Does yours have a different code? Is "1" the default for "non-shady" people?

+1 on the speed and efficiency. Mine too is back @Vfs bangalore in 8 days (Submitted on 20th and is back today). Unfortunately weekend came at the wrong time, will post updates after i collect mine on Monday

Hi Guys,

Question for the experts refers to the application of a friend.

This friend of mine had a common law relationship back in Brazil but they broke up in 2016 but never got legally separated. He came to Canada in 2017, alone, as a student and then applied to PR in 2018. He stated himself as single considering the fact that he has no intention to engage back in the relationship and he is alone in Canada.

When he analyzed his GCMS Notes he saw a review required indicating his Previous Relationship (that was not included in the application).

Do you think that he should raise a CSE upfront sending the common-law document? He has no intention to include her in the application since, as I said, they are not together anymore.

How he should proceed? Of course, he cannot travel to Brazil to cancel the relationship in a Notary Office. Important to note that he declared funds more than enough (around 120,000 CAD) so he is not taking any advantage from this situation.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Hi guys! Yet another silent reader so far. I received my PPR mail on Wednesday, 26th June. Primary visa office was CPC-Ottawa. Giving details of my timeline below:

AOR - Dec. 19th, 2018
MEP and IP1 - Jan. 31st 2019
IP2 - 24th June, 2019
PPR - 26th June 2019

Updated the same on MyImmitracker.

I have applied from Bangalore, India and have been asked to submit my passport and other docs to any VFS centre in India or Nepal. Now, I have traveled to Santiago, Chile for 2 months until August 15th and hence would not be able to submit my docs in India. I have checked the PPR email for a mode to contact them, but there's no email ID mentioned in the PPR email through which I can contact IRCC for any changes in my circumstances.

I currently have 2 options - either submit the docs in Santiago, or ask for an extension on my documents submission deadline. I have raised a webform and have emailed the email ID of CPC Ottawa mentioned on the IRCC website.

What else can I do to communicate my situation to IRCC? I have approached VFS offices, who told me that it's possible to submit documents in Santiago if the approving IRCC office sends a new mail with the new location.

Appreciate your help on this! :)

@derkdsou @legalfalcon @USProgrammer

Abhilash
