does anybody hear or experience having transactions with this website because im currently dealing with this becomeacanadian.org and i want to know if it's legit and if i can trust them because i dont want to spend thousands of dollars if it will be for nothing. thank you in advance

as i see it, they are like the middle man for applying to work to canada.they are asking for USD1,100 for the processing fee aside from the $26 i paid for the evaluation

They are definitely a middleman, but if they are charging money and promising you a job, that's fraud. It's illegal to do that, and many people get scammed.

I'd be very careful.

Yeah then I would avoid them. Sounds very scammy.

A real immigration consultant (licensed and registered in Canada), would charge you maybe CAD $100-200 for an hour long consultation where they will clearly lay out your options, give you advice etc. No one legit charges $1,000 without giving any information.

What are you trying to do? Immigrate to Canada? Have you looked into Express Entry?

It's very possible to immigrate without using a consultant. Many people do - I did it myself.

Yes, I've been in Canada for almost 2 years now. I'm from India, but I went through the Express Entry process from the US.

Please don’t pay them. It is very hard to get a work permit from abroad if you don’t qualify to work in Canada. Most of these companies give you a fraudulent job offer if you pay. You can fill out all the forms yourself if you want. Wait until you gets your IELTS scores and then look at your options. In general anyone promising a job is scamming you.
