It took exactly 6 months and 8 days from AOR to PPR. The long delay in processing was pissing me off. I raised a CSE on 15th June 2019. After a few hours of me receiving a notification that they have received a CSE, I got the PPR email. Good luck guys!

Medical: Passed
Eligibility: In progress

The customer service agent informed me that I can expect major progress on my application soon (not sure how soon). I'm little concerned about the eligibility check still being in progress. Is it normal to have the eligibility check in progress at this point?

P.S: Looks like their system was down today, hence those intermittent issues with the online portal. Also, the agent informed me that application status is updated weekly on Tuesdays.

i have applied on 05 Dec 2018 for work permit, last month i got mail that they need IT return of Employer, which we have given to them..Now its being 1 month no movement... pls help...

Thanks, Aprajita. I have no idea which is my Visa office. I called the agent couple of days back for the first time. He said it's done and no need to know anything further. Just wait till the mail is sent.

I asked for criminality, security, eligibility specifically as mentioned earlier by @USProgrammer @derkdsou

Agent said that there is no need for you to know all these details. I asked for Visa office, the agents it's not required for you sir. Your application is done now.

But you will have update latest by end of July. No particular reason, they (IRCC) take their time to do some follow ups.



I have no clue for why the wait, but that it's done. Let's see when do I get the golden mail. Fingers crossed.

Hello All,

I am a silent reader on this forum and i have a couple of questions, it would be great to have your inputs:

1) I have filled out the IRCC webform due to delay in processing, however i have not received any confirmation from them that they have received it. I filled out the form on 23rd June 2019. Additionally, how much time does IRCC take to respond to the inquiry raised via the web form?

2) Has anyone attempted getting GCMS notes vis GET GCMS, which is mainly for applicants residing outside canada? What is the authenticity of this website and have the notes been delivered as promised?

Hi, w.r.t I'm l point 1, even I had raised a web form request. The only confirmation I received was a pop up page saying success, your query is submitted or something along those lines. I did receive a reply from CPC Ottawa after about 8 days.

2, I do not have much idea about GCMS notes.
