Fingers crossed!!!

In the field "Number of family members..." at the end of linking process, what number you enter?
I was entering 1.... but I've just tried with 2... I feel like a moron. I thought it wouldn't have included the person sponsoring me.

Just got mine too! Was yours the one just about bringing photos for the PR card? Initially stuff I was looking up said the interviews are for when they have doubts, but those were old threads. Recent ones indicate its just a formality this point.

Congrats on getting your landing interview invitation letter! Also just to clarify it, there are still 2 types of interviews being conducted and that's why we never say just "interview" but add the indicating word in front of it to distinct which one:
  1. Landing Interview - every inland applicants give it and it is not just a formality; applicants can still be denied for a number of reasons.
  2. Relationship Interview - just like you said, only some applicants give it to prove their relationships are genuine and the requirements are met.

Ah ok, that makes sense.

For the landing interview, what can I expect?

That barely happens
Most probably happens if the principal applicant had a criminal past that Canada didn't discover (which is very unlikely) and the person admits to it at the landing interview, or admits to a misrepresentation made on the file
It can also happen if the sponsor decides he/she doesn't want to sponsor anymore and doesn't show up at the landing interview or declares that he/she doesn't want to sponsor anymore at the landing interview
