When your father is the principal applicant, your mother is his dependent spouse. The form need to be filled for both of them.

No. Write N/A.
Thank you so much for your help!

So Just to clarify when I fill the same form from my mother's side. in Principal applicant's field, I should write N/A? and in Spouse's field section I will enter my father's information.

Secondly, any suggestion on my question number 2? Thanks.

Hi Guys,

I just checked the tracker and it shows somebody already rejected after document request?

Line 7 on the tracker, Isn't it too early to reject anyone's application?

Just curious, Do anyone knows the case about that person or why it was rejected so fast?

Can I ask them to sign the corrected document and send a scanned copy through email? Does IRCC accept signed scan copies?
Yes. I actually had asked the CIC about exact same thing. They said they don't need original signatures at the time of submission and we can fax or scan the signed doc during submission. I wish I knew it earlier too as it took a lot of time for me as well to go back and forth in hope to get it all signed before submission. They did indicate that immigration officer will probably ask later for original signatures but that atleast lets your application in queue for processing. You should certainly put a cover letter explaining the need for scanned signatures (I would almost suggest to leave original signed form even though it has error as well and indicate the error by post it or pencil mark so they can match the signatures if needed.) Cheers

No this was the only one it seems among the candidates in this forum.
I heard one more case which was rejected on one of the facebook group because of LICO did not meet for 2017.

I made a mistake on Family Information Form back in May and I want to send the correct information through Web Form. I noticed this form has changed. What goes in the box where it says "Parent"?

Don't say it was wasted. The guy really wanted his/her parents to come so took a chance.
I am sure processing fees were paid in full, so they did nothing wrong...

I am not saying the person did the wrong thing but if he/she have checked the lico and/or rules properly before even entering the name in the fcfs draw, another person who is truly eligible would have got the chance to apply and reunite with the family.

Everyone wants their parents or grandparents to reunite with them and stay with them forever, Even though paying the full amount of fees and taking the hassle of applying, it was not rewarded as he/she was not eligible to apply and in Canada, eligibility rules are really strict.
