Statutary Question's Reply needed

Hi ,

Previously I was a dependent applicant under my spouse's EE application and our application got refused. Now I'm PA and we have got the ITA . While filling up the details last section is of statutary questions where they ask was XYZ previously denied permanent residence permit / visa ......
So shall I say yes , ? if I say yes there comes a box saying to provide details.

You will answer no, since it was not your application. However, in the statutory questions for your spouse you will answer yes and explain.

The individual who files the application is responsible for the application.
