Ppr feels so close yet so far...
Irony is that my wp was also processed in Edmonton.. it took exactly 86 days for wp which is within timelines...

Mine work permit took exatly 90 days though on the website its mentioned 2.5 months. My work permit was processed in New delhi and I have provided all the details regarding my visa's. I am sure my security is clear since i was granted work permit not sure whats the hold up with Ottawa VO. 4 days to compelete 6 months. I am out of job and no ones seems to be ready to hire me. Cant go to my old firm as they know I have applied for my PR and I wont stay with them for a longer duration. Kinda pissed due to this bizzare process and the delay.

No update after MEP.
I called up IRCC two months back they said everything is good but file hasn't been picked up yet. I called them again recently and they said that i should contact local Visa office i.e Pretoria. I sent them a mail, here's there reply. Although it's pretty straight up , I don't understand that if they mean file will be picked up soon or file has been picked up and under review for a decision

Here's their reply

Hi buddy. I am from Mauritius too. I had the same generic response from Pretoria Office. My AOR 14 december, mep 24 Jan. Did not receive any ADR,No ghost updates,no change in cic portal. PPR email came in on 29th May after 5 months 14 days. Hang on tight and check ur email regularly. It won't take more than 6 months hopefully merci mon ami derkdsou for z tag courage a toi et a tous

I'm glad the December forum is a respite in this way! I've noticed a lot of people from other AOR forums come hang out here because we like to have some fun! Poetry is a necessary escape at times like this, and more forums should take up our challenge! (It's a shame the forums from February and beyond have been almost supplanted by whatsapp.)

Hello everyone
Just a few questions as im a bit confused please help!!
Im CEC outland.
Got my PPR on 14th May (I think, please confirm) didn’t receive it in the email but on my cic portal. Asked to submit 2 photos and passport. Submitted them on 20th May. Showed on my VFS portal it was received by IRCC on 21st May.

How much time will it take to get the passport back as today its 28th May. Ive seen people here get it back in 7-14 days after PPR. And as im outland, living in Pakistan, does the passport go all the way to Canada to get stamped? And my CIC portal hasnt been updated to approved yet.

Please help if anyone can understand my situation.

did you get your COPR? When? Did VFS call/email you to let you know to pick up passport?
