Just received AOR2? How important is it?

does this mean it’s getting closer to passport request? Or is it still months away/not important update .

I have completed aor, sa, medical and biometrics

File is now in vo office. All fees are paid.

AOR2 is only an update on when they start processing your file after transfer. How fast you will get to completion depends on your own case (When they complete your BGC and Eligibility) and which VO is processing your file.
