Does anyone knows when you can receive DM after it's shows on your online profile that decision is made. Any idea? Just curious

My guess it's usually within a week. Some get it sooner, some have to wait. Mine took a week.

Same here, really depends on how busy they are. I'd say around 2 weeks give or take a few days.

They open at 8 as far as I know, but I'm not sure it's a good idea. If everyone shows up early the place will be very crowded and it still doesn't mean that you'll get your turn faster. If you're worried about the traffic, you can estimate to arrive half an hour earlier.

There’s no such a timeline for it. I called CIC beginning of last week and they said my app is done, all the steps are completed. But I haven’t received anything so far. Also, there are people who never received DM and got right away landing letter. So, better keep the patience (if we still have some left lol).

Owp alone does not permit you to re enter canada. You need to apply for a new temporary resident visa. I did mine online and got approve in one day. Now im waiting my passport to come back

Is it true that once you apply as an inland application, you cannot leave Canada until your application is finalized ?

My wife is visiting me from the USA and intends to travel to USA to see her family. She is already been here for 4+ months. I was planning to put in an application for her next week but I heard that once you submit and inland application, you cannot leave Canada.

If that is true, I might have to apply for her as an outland.

Kindly advise which stream would be better for our case, outland or inland (I was hoping she would get medical insurance while inland)
