I filled my express entry profile on Feb 9th and got my biometrics done in mid of April. I'm not sure why it's taking so long to get my PPR. Is this normal process or is there something else that I need to do. I'm processing my application through a consultant

Perfectly normal. 80% of applications take ~6 months. 20% take longer (can be much longer). It all depends on your profile and your documents.

If you haven't got a PPR after 7 months or so, you can ask your consultant to apply for GCMS notes to see what's going on. It takes about a month to get the notes.

It's fine. When you land, ask them to double check and correct if necessary. Sometimes the word is correctly entered on the computer, but the printout misses the last letter.

Will it normally take more than 6 months to receive the PPR email. Then why do they give us maximum of 6 months. Also is there any charges for applying GCMS.
