Hi,

I am just getting started in the visa process really and have a question about how to best apply for an Express Entry visa stating that I currently have a job online that I will continue to work full time with once I get to Canada.

I live in the UK and the company I work for is Japanese, I am a systems manager.

What info would I need to give and how would I submit it alongside the rest of my info so that my CRS score was a good one? I have been looking into subjects like "Labour Market Impact Assessment" and have gotten confused as to what info I really need to get. It's no problem for me to get a letter of recommendation from my company, I have been working with them for 5 years now.

Any help at all would be very much appreciated!

You cannot get additional points for an online job that you will continue to work in full time once in Canada. This does not count as a job offer.

To get the 50 job offer points, the job needs to be with a company that is physically located in Canada and your employer must obtain an approved LMIA. You cannot apply for an LMIA - this is something only your employer can do. An LMIA will not be approved for your online job.

You don't qualify for the 50 job offer points.

Thank you for the response!
So in terms of my application, me having a full time job will not help me in gaining extra points?
I understand that I am asking a similar question to my first, but I just want to make sure I fully understand the how my position affects my application.
Again thank you for all your help

Correct - no extra points.
