Hello everyone,
I am currently enrolled in Health and Human and Human Services Management post-diploma certificate in Calgary. My course will end by the end of December 2019. I wish to move to Vancouver and start a new post-diploma certificate or a diploma course there in January. Can anyone please suggest to me:

  1. The course that I can take up in a college under SPP in Vancouver based on my present course.
  2. Will my credits be transferred under that course?
  3. My brother is a Canadian citizen from Vancouver, will I have an issue while applying for the PR as I will be completing one course from Alberta and the next from Vancouver.
Kindly suggest some solutions as soon as possible

Regards

1. SPP program closed long time back and is replaced with SDS. You can go to any college that has a DLI number. Do note that some colleges have a DLI number and do not offer PGWP.
2. You will have to contact the college you are applying to and see if they will give a course credit. Do note that transferring credit may reduce your program length and therefore reduce your PGWP.
3. Your cousin being a citizen will be a benefit to your PR application. Most PNP programs for international students is only for studies done in their province. That would be the only restriction.
