If you have paid for tracking and know it has been received you could also just wait a few weeks for normal processing.:)
It is safer to know IRCC got it in hand and at least get a temp file number, I don't trust Canada Post these days after so many strike and on some website people complaint packages misdelivered or delivered to wrong places etc, it is just too important to me for that to happen, I have been waiting 11 years before I can submit this app

When are you able to link on MyCIC? I got temporary FN, but can't check ECAS and can't link to my online account.
temp file number is just a prospect file, it has not been accepted yet and has not been checked for completeness so you will not be able to see anything on ecas or link it. You need to wait till someone look at your file, create a full filenumber (F.... not XF...) and press a release button to let you view it, that what agent told me. The good thing about knowing temp number is that you know it has been delivered to the right place

EXACTLY CORRECT! Temp file # has no meaning to us / for the purposes of eCAS or myCIC. That said, it is proof that your application is in the system as a "Prospect File. Please review post 7747 pf 517 for the backend process.

The magic happens when the CO presses the "button" for things to be visible on eCAS...

IMM 5771 (02-2019) (But I think this was always 02-2019 for this year. I signed my application on April 25th and this was 02-2019.)

IMM1344 (06-2019)
IMM 0008DEP (06-2019)
IMM 5406 (06-2019)

Thanks. I have received all the documents from home country with signatures. Cant get the new forms now in time for the due date. Should I just go ahead with what I have?

imm 5771, imm1344, imm5768, imm0008, imm5406
Apologies, but IMM 0008 is still 11-2018. Only IMM 0008DEP has been updated.

UPDATE: Incorrect info above. Needed to clear my cookies. IMM 0008 is also updated (06-2019)

The Million$ question. Here is what I would do in your shoes...

1. What is the signing date on your forms ? is it on or before May 31st? If so, go ahead with old forms.

2. If the signing date is post 01 June then I suggest that you do all that you can in your power to use the new forms. You can send scanned forms. CIC has confirmed this, thought the CO may want to see the originals at a later date.

Go with what you have .
What is the date your parents signed the application ?

Yes. You should. Don't bother downloading and filling up the new forms. I am IRCC is not going to reject your application by validating the date you signed and the date they updated the form. So, please go head and submit and wait for your AOR.
