Can someone tell me why my points are not increasing with work experience? I have 1+ year work experience currently, which will turn to 2 in August. But the calculator shows the same points when I select 2 years of work experience. Do you get the same number of points for 1-3 years work experience?
The work experience points are given based 1year+ experience, 2yrs+ and 3yrs+. If you worked 1 year 5 months, it doesn't matter as you will get the point for 1year+. But when you reach 2years, your point will increase as you will reach the 2yrs+.

While not trying to burst the current bubble, the fact is a maintenance notice is not always a prerequisite for a draw. This can easily be confirmed from ircc twitter handle. Another thing is that almost all previous 1week gap draws were followed by a three weeks gap draw. With the current baseline cut off of 470, a 1 week gap draw followed by a three week gap will most likely take us back to the status quo. The best scenario right now will be a draw this coming Wednesday with increase in ITAs. All we can do now is hope and pray.

For FSW you get same points for 1 year or 2 years experience. You can get maximum points available for work experience once you hit 3 years.

my question didnt come out clear... suppose we get a PNP nomination which gives 600 points can we enter EE pool now that we have 600 points plus whatever points we had earlier... so the final could be around 800-900.
I hope you know below few things about PNP:
1. You have to be in EE pool, so that a province can send you NOI.
2. When you accept the NOI, and send your docs to that province, it takes upto 3 months for them to evaluate your docs.
3. After your successful evaluation, you will get a Nomination Certificate from that province, this adds 600 points to your CRS.
4. Then in the very next EE draw, your profile will be picked up for ITA, then you proceed further with submitting PR application. After this it takes upto 6 months for PPR.
5. You have to pay provincial application fees in Step 2 above; and PR Fees in Step 4.

So, to sum it up, getting NOI from a province is different (600 points not added), and getting Nomination Certificate is different (600 points added).
But you have to be in EE pool first.

This online service will be unavailable from 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Eastern time, onTuesday June 4, 2019, in order to perform system maintenance.

Does this mean a draw on Wednesday? This could be a perfect Eid gift
Hopefully Yes. This has been a constant sign for a draw since Jan. Lets pray that we get increased ITAs from now on....

Guys i need your advice . I have received a notification of interest from Ontario. My crs is 450. Should i wait or go for this option?
May i ask what is your NOC and ECA?
OF course the draw will reach to 450 in couple of draws, but there is the date cut-off, you should consider.
I would suggest you to go for OINP, if you dont want to take the risk.

CRS score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool as of May 10, 2019
CRS score range
Number of candidates
601-1,200
317 = +/- 32 per day from May 1
451-600 1,668 = +/- 167 per day
441-450 5,360 = +/- 86 per day (5360-4497)

Before, based on the data from April 26 and May 1st and 10th, I estimated that By May 29 the CRS score would be

601-1,200 317 + 608(32 x 19days) =925
451-600 1511 + 3173 (167 x 19days) = 4841
441-450 5360 + 1634 (86 x 19days) = 6994

Now,
CRS score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool as of May 24, 2019
CRS score range Number of candidates
601-1,200
729
451-600 4,624
441-450 5,872

Means in 14 days from May 10th to May 24th there were about:

601-1,200: (729-317= 412/14days = 29profile/day

451-600: (4624-1668=2957/14days = 211profile/day)

441-450: (5872-5360 = 510/14days = 36profile/day

So, by 29th May, the distribution will be approximately:

600-1200:
729 + 145 (29profile x 5days) = 874

451-600: 4,624 + 1055(211profilex5days ) = 5679

441-450: 5872 + 180(36profilex5day) =6052

Number of nvitation issued on 29th May is 3350. So, the 874profile with 600+points would have all received ITA. (3350-874 =2476)
Remaining 2476 will be taken from 451-600point range. So 5679-2476= 3203.

Therefore, after the invitation, the score distribution will be:

600+ = 0
451-600 =3203
441-450=6052

By 12th June, the score will be approximately:

600+= 406 (29profile x14days)
451-600= 3203 + 2954(211x14) =6157
441-450=6052 + 504(36x14)=6556

Do we need a job offer for pnp ? For FSW.
not really !!!! however, they also look for profiles with a job offer. So having a job offer will give you an edge over others.
