Below is the lame response from my MP. See how LVO lied about May 15 in their response. They requested schedule A in April which I provided the very next day, but they didn't start reviewing it till May 15 when I ordered GCMS notes. Anyhow, I replied to my MP and let her know that my BGC started Tuesday and I received DM yesterday :)

"I have received a response from my contacts at IRCC and unfortunately they provided very little information. All they have indicated was that due to various factors the file has fallen outside of regular processing times. They verified that the information requested in April was received on May 15 and that the criminality verification and security verification is what is left to do on the file.

If the application is not finalized in the next month or two please feel free to contact me again and I will see what I can find out. Unfortunately I am limited in my abilities when it comes to immigration"

Similar to what our MP said.

Well not really. I emailed them to see if I could send them an update on the file. They replied back a month later saying, We encourage you to send us any and all updates as they happen. So I sent the scans of the entry/exit stamps on the passport, boarding pass scans. Then a week later I sent them more whatsapp chat records and pics that we took on my trip. Then a few weeks later I sent them pics of the financial support docs, e.g. moneygram, western Union, bank transfers or any app that transfers money across the globe. I would suggest sending updates as they happen, and try to become a squeaking wheel as the time approaches the 1 year mark. Go to your local MP's office and explain what is happening and show them that there has been no activity on the case for a long period of time, using notes on the file. Just a suggestion
Wait a minute is your file with lvo?

Salam all,
I am new to this thread. I am a Pakistani girl from Punjab got married with Canadian citizen ( originally from Bangladesh) It was arranged marriage by parents which converted into love. We got married last year in December. Its our second marriage and both of us are divorced. My previous marriage lasted only for 3 years as my ex was psycho and torturing. My husband's previous marriage lasted for 10 years and his ex cheated and left. He never sponsored or being sponsored as they both got immigration under economic class. I have no child from my previous marriage. He is 6 years elder than me. My husband has to go back in January as he is working in a reputable organization with decent salary. I am working in a school as teacher. We had wedding ceremony, rukhsathi and wedding reception surrounded by my family. My husband's family could bot be present physically due to cost and visa issue between Pakistan and Bangladesh but they saw the proceedings live in messenger. We have taken many pics of the occasions and also pics of my husband's family watching the ceremonies. We have explained briefly in the application all these and provided pics, messages in facebook and WhatsApp, emails. We also submitted congratulation emails from my husbands colleague and announcement of our relationship in facebook with comments. We have also included the financial support my husband is providing although I am independent working lady. My husband passport showing visa stams, boarding passes and invitation letter from my father sent to my husband to apply for Pakistan visa has been also included. My husband also submitted the health insurance policy from workplace which includes my name as spouse. My CNIC and passport both carries my husband name. We have submitted original Urdu Niakhnama ( pics of signing Nikahnama also included in the application), English translation of urdu nikah nama, marriage certificate. All documents have been notarized before submission. In the recent taxation my husband filed including my information so the notice of tax assessment shows married and the tax department has my information too. By the grace of Almighty we have received AOR, SA, BR and MR. I have completed Biometrics and medical is passed. The online account shows background check is in process and checking eligibility requirements. Not sure what will be the next stage of this process. We are both scared after reading all the stories here. We feel so sympathize for everyone and our relationship is genuine still scared. Praying to Allah so that everyone can meet their loved ones soon.

No need to be scared or anything, your process is going normal. Just be patient and normal processing time is approx. 12 months, you should only panic if there's nothing nearing the end of 12 months.

More than a month since DM, but no PPR. What’s taking so long? Could it be that background check/security clearance is still happening or something?

Thanks brother. My husband is planning to visit in coming December as he wants to use all his holidays and Christmas holidays to spend more time with me. My father has to send again invitation letter for him to apply for Pakistan visa. What makes me scared that they always question about genuineness of relationship. With legal marriage documents and pics of wedding, chats they should not treat us like that..

It's their job to look into the marriages for genuineness as some have been involved in wrong doings in the past and that's not just with Pakistanis but every applicant so you should not be worried. Just ensure to keep records of everything and keep them informed of any developments or pictures when you meet, etc.

Thanks. We have included lots of pics of us and with our family in the application except my husband's family as the marriage took place between two countries. In the application we included lots of communications in emails, facebook, WhatsApp. When he comes again in December then we plan to visit few places and take more pics. We are praying that the whole process is smooth as we really love each other and want to spend the rest of the life together.
