So after reading all these negative comments from Pakistan I asked one of my friend is it true that they are taking more time for people of Pakistan than others. She said it’s not true. She also said that lot of people from Pakistan has abused the system in the past. This is the reason now IRCC is very careful processing Pakistan’s applications. I hope this ease of some negativity of pakistan people. Have patience. We will all get through this. Eventually.

But i got biometric request twice so the second date of my biometrics is 24th may 2019
It is true that some people from Pakistan might have abused the system, but that's true for other nationalities as well and Pakistani immigrants are not even 5% of the overall incoming population.
That being said, it's not that we don't want CIC to scrutinize our application. It's their right and they should. The problem lies with London visa office. Have a look at the spreadsheet, since January all but Pakistani applicants have been moved to visa offices. For applicants that applied in May/June last year, London office has not even opened some of the files. In Mississauga the process is fast, with 2 months they make some progress on your file.
With London it's an average of 6-7 month just to open the freaking file, that's concerning. They should check all applications in detail, ask more information, even reject if they want, but files sitting on their desks for months n months is no joke. And it's about bringing a family member over, with hanky panky cases if they take time fair enough, but for everyone suffering BECAUSE OF THEIR LAZINESS this is unfair. Unjust !!

May be one person was processed quick by them but on average its a disaster.
Let Mississauga process our apps, or some office from within Canada, let them check it in detail. But London is a torture.

Why did u do biometrics twice? Did your gckey not update on the initial collection?
Gckey had my biometrics number,date and expiry. But they sent me the letter twice. Upon asking through CSE they replied that the office processing my file is unable to perform verification through this set of biometrics and requesting a new set of biometrics.
