Hi Everyone
I have a small issue . Right now i live in Canada and parents are located in a small town in India .
Since few forms require my parents signature too .
Is it possible for my parents to sign and then fax it to me , then i can sign and send to Citizenship and Immigration.
That way i don't have to depend on Indian post .

Folks need some help with checking status.
Is there a way to find out the UCI number from Visitor Visa stamp.
I applied for my mom and dad and didnt mention the UCI number as it was not mandatory.

Hello Guys,

On form IMM5768 (FINANCIAL EVALUATION) for question 15 & 16 if we select NO (We don't want to give our consent) as I am providing the NOA and Form IMM5748, do we still need to write our SIN# and sign on the signature block?

please advice.

@YULIA-2016 Unfortunately, this is not correct answer.

@goa123 Yes, you can apply for one parent when they are still together but you cannot exclude them from the family size calculation. You apply for one parent and other would be the dependent. Primary applicant can always choose to say that dependent is not accompanying ( this would require to provide the reason).

Thanks....
This is what responce I got from Tweeter Handle IRCC

Hi, Yes you can apply to sponsor only one parent. Note if you only want to sponsor one parent (your mother for example) then your other parent (your father) would count as a dependant of the parent you want to sponsor.

It's the 8-digit number at the lower right corner.

Can't you use FeDex, DHL etc if you do not trust Indian Post? I would not use faxing.

Hello Guys,

What should I enter in the family size on form# 5768 (Financial Evaluation)? should I add my parents in this number or just my family size of Canada excluding my parents?

Hello Guys,

On form IMM5768 (FINANCIAL EVALUATION) for question 15 & 16 if we select NO (We don't want to give our consent) as I am providing the NOA and Form IMM5748, do we still need to write our SIN# and sign on the signature block?

please advice.
This paragraph is from the second page of the ITA:

"You can submit your Social Insurance Number (SIN) and give us your consent on the
Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship (IMM 5768) form
which allows us to receive your personal income tax information directly from Canada
Revenue Agency (CRA) to determine your financial eligibility. If you do not wish to
provide your consent and SIN,
you must complete and submit the applicable Income
Sources for the Sponsorship of Parents and Grandparents (IMM 5748) form along with
your Notices of Assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency for the 3 taxation
years immediately preceding the date of your application. You can obtain your personal
tax information using the CRA’s My Account online service. To register or login, visit
My Account;"

Thanks for your reply, so no Signature and no Sin# right when you are not giving your consent?

Thanks for the reply.
I asked the same question to citizenship and immigration throught their Facebook Messenger.
Will report back here when I get the reply.
When we have new and reliable technology why don't use it . In the guide they mentioned hand written signature , I guess not to use the pdf electronic signature

Hello Guys,

For Form# 5768(Financial Evaluation) what would you recommend proving copies of Notice of Assessments or giving Consent? if I am providing NOA copies do I need to attest them or self signed on it?

Please recommend!
