Renew multiple tourist visa

hello, it seems I can’t buy tickets to canada to enter in September because my tourist visa expires in december (less than 6 months before expire date )
How long before visa expire date can i apply for a new one ? Or how can i fix this problem to travel in sept o oct ?

There is no six month rule. You can enter Canada up until the expiry of the visa.

What's really happening? You can't, or you think you can't? Who isn't letting you buy tickets with a visa expiring in less than 6 months?
