People are talking about ECAS already. I am confused.
The usual process is any CPC will take atleast month or two before opening your package and enter into system. That's when we get AOR and ECAS will show "Application Received". If it's PR application, we should be able to link it to GCKey account and if it's a citizenship grant application, we can't link.
How is that people are now expecting ECAS to show up the application within a couple of weeks after sending out the application? Is the process changed?
It's because people have submitted very early within the 60day deadline. I'm reposting my previous reply below:
---------------------
No, it's not 20 days. It could be lesser or it could be more.
Here's why - When you submit an application very early within the 60-day deadline, officers have time to review it and send you AOR within days or few weeks (rarely months) since fewer applications are being received for the first week or two. But when the deadline approaches, more and more applications are received... it could be thousands within a day. So the bulk receipt of applications at this later stage slows down the review process. If you have submitted your application closer to the deadline, most of the time AORs are received after a few months - approx 2 months at a minimum and up to 4-6 months.

That's why people who know this trend rushed to submit their applications, just because it speeds up the process. Your parents can receive PR within 5 mos - 8 months of processing. This is taking into account that Medicals, PCCs, etc are submitted on time and that there are no other delays whatsoever.
---------------------

This has been the trend but of course, may change as we don't have control over IRCC's processing.

Just mention all of them and the respective gross from T4 of each employer. I had 2 jobs too, one of my friend had like 7-8 different, she mentioned all of them.
So i.e.
2016-01-01 - 2016-12-31 X employer gross $X
2017-01-01 - 2017-12-31 Y empl gross $Y
2017-05-15 2017-12-31 Z empl gross$Z (second job same year)
and so on.

Guys, I have one question. I was filling IMM 1344 form and there in the Sponsor's eligibility, there is a question "Have you Submitted a previous application in respect of which a final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family members?". Now I have this concern, that I have my Spousal application in progress, and now in parallel I am applying for this PGP 2019, should I select NO or YES here? When I was seeing the instruction guide its written as below
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you answer “Yes” to any question between 5 and 15, and you are sponsoring a spouse, common-law or conjugal partner
  • You are not eligible to be a sponsor. You should not submit an application
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can anyone help me here please?
Let me know what are you doing . I am in same situation. My spousal sponsorship is in process too. And I am applying for both my parents also . I thought I should select yes for this question as this is question number 4 in the form

Hi there @YULIA-2016 , Could you please update my file on the spreadsheet.

Invitation Email: 25th April 2018
Application received in Ottawa: 9th May 2019
Parents country of citizenship: UK
Prov: AB
SIN/NOA: Both

Thanks.

Just a question for all those who are trying to track via ECAS, are you using the Receipt Number to search or the UCI number? Only asking because when i used this for my citizenship, only my UCI number worked and not the receipt number. When entering in the family name and date of birth, are we using the DOB for the sponsor or the sponsored?

I logged in just now and checked ECAS and I can see Application received now. I was checking it daily 2 to 3 times, last time I checked was at around 10.30 am today and there was no update. But now it is.

I checked it via both the UCI - Applicant and Sponsor, in both I can see update.

One strange thing though, My mom is staying with me on super visa right now, and thats how I stated her current mailing and residence address of Canada. But in ECAS I can see current mailing and residence of back home.

I guess they are taking it from previous UCI data, I know I can update it, but I will wait till AOR comes, dont want to mess the file in hurry.
Anyone else have observed similar address mismatch?
When did you submit your application
