May 2019 TRV Timelines

myra20sharma your repeated posts & timelines have been very helpful as have been others on April 2019 TRV Timeline.
I have applied for my parents visitor visa - TRV & current timeline is as under;
26-Apr Applied at Mumbai VFS via paper application - Bio done alongside
27-Apr Recd mail from VFS - envelope received at the Canadian Visa Application Center
29-Apr Recd Visitor Acknowledgement Letter
30-Apr Linked the applications online on CIC;
Online status says We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
We are processing your background check.
06-May Recd Correspondence letter online on CIC
Should i be expecting a decision shortly as i have seen that most of the online applicants get ppr notification shortly after getting Correspondence letter ??
Since this is a paper application not sure what communication i will receive instead of PPR.

Also, what does your VFS status say? Does it say something like "decision envelope has been dispatched"

Passports are already with them since paper applications. Hope i receive some communication in a day or two if online applicants timelines are taken as a guidance.

I too thought it seems very quick considering that there was huge rush at Mumbai VAC & that 01-May has been a bank holiday in following week.

Yeah, it is not always real time! Keep an eye on your online account and email inbox and spam too.

I have applied for my infants Visitor Visa(NDVO OFFICE) on 16 th April, there is no update on the same except its in process. I have raised web form Query. how soon can I can get a reply from them ?

Further to my above post / time line;
just received mail from VFS - Your processed decision envelope has been dispatched from the IRCC Office.
CIC online status has changed to approved.

Applied: April 17
Confirmation letter: April 17
Passport request: April 29
Passport received by CIC: May 2
No updates so far. Have a flight on May 23. Really worried hope I will receive it back by that time.
Btw, what is the next update I should receive on my cic account?
