Hi, I am from India and have applied for an Open Work Permit (OWP) as a dependent of my spouse who has a job there with a PGWP work permit. My online application was rejected due to lack of documents (I just attached a marriage certificate and did not provide proof of current relationship and funds, etc). I applied again on paper because there I could attach all the proofs easily without the size requirements.

When I applied online for the first time, I already gave my biometrics which is supposed to be valid for 10 years. But today I received biometrics instruction letter again for my on paper application. Is this normal? I did not even pay the biometric fees when I paid for the on paper application. Should I go ahead and give my biometrics again at a VAC?

Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

You don't need to do biometrics again. Inform the VO you have already done them.

Thanks a lot for the reply. Yes, I too thought I shouldn't have to give it again. But here in India, they don't acknowledge the emails easily so it adds to the confusion :(
