Someone said they will start processing immediately once they receive an application, hinting an application should be returned once determined incomplete. This could take less than 60 days.

But with your suggestion, it sounds like they will only start processing everyone after June 28.
Correct. They will start processing once they receive your application but sometimes it usually takes them a while to send back your documents if they've rejected it.

My parents' wedding ceremony was in 1982-09 (day is unknown). In 1983, they had their oldest child.

However, a marriage certification was issued for them in 2011.

When I filled out form IMM0008, question 13, should I put 1982-09 or 2011 as the date they married?

And if I chose Sept/1982, with the day is unknown, should I put 09-01-1982 and put an explanation letter or should I enter 09/*/1982 with the form not validated?

I have sufficient income to support my mother for 2018, 2017 and 2016 and my wife is not working. I joined as independent consultant in 2019 and set up an incorporation which consists of me and my wife as employees. The income is the money withdrawn from business account to personal account which is split between me and my wife in 2019.
When i checked with my auditor, the auditor asked to add my wife as co-sponsor even though her income is 0$ for 2018, 2017 and 2016 in NOA. The auditor mentioned that CIC will check for the combined income.
I'm not sure whether to add her as co-sponsor. Please help.

Hi All
In the Interest to sponsor application I wrote both my father and mother family name with extra space in the middle
example if we assume the family name is Alesm
I wrote it as Al Esm

Thats because my name here in Canad is written with Space in the middle
But now found out their name in their new passports is written without the space Alesm

I can add Affidavit for this with explanation but signing the Affidavit with real public notary is huge hassle where they live.

can I add Affidavit with their signature only ?
A letter with their signatures only can not serve as affidavit. Affidavit is taking oath in front of Notary Public or Commissioner of oath.

There's a note on the guide regarding this situation:
"Note: If you do not know the complete date of birth or if the date is in the 1800s, please use a “*” (star sign/asterisk) to fill in the spaces for the unknown year, month or day. The missing information can be added by hand however the form cannot be validated."

See it here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5772-application-sponsor-parents-grandparents.html
Its Not accepting the "*" signs. The filed turns red and says death date cant be before the birth date

Thanks Kathy. Yea I thought so. The only problem is on her second entry to Canada they tweaked the rule. The website had a section which read "Subsequent visits would only allowed for 6 months". We had to apply for an extension. Can't seem to find that text on their website anymore.

The rule Changed on Jun 18, 2018. Now the subsequent visits are for 2 yrs unless otherwise date mentioned on the stamp.
But dn't just exit and try to enter on super vis to just extend the stay, its red flagged in the system.
File for an extension and you can get for 1 year on super visa.

SUPER VISA UPDATE
Program delivery update: Super visa guidance – June 18, 2018

This section contains policy, procedures and guidance used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada staff. It is posted on the Department’s website as a courtesy to stakeholders.

The guidance for super visa holders has been updated to reflect that each entry to Canada should be for a duration of up to 2 years and extensions should be for 1 year. Specific instructions for border services officers and processing offices in Canada have been updated.

Thank you Vivek.

Had another question if you can help.
1) In form 5768. Should i answer 1 for question#5?
I sponsored my wife in 2017, she got her PR in feb 2018.
2) Question 9,10,12 should i leave blank or write none?
3) As my wife is not co-signer, do i still need to fill question#

Thank you buddy.
You should include in your wife in Q3 part i). That is your sponsored your wife and she got PR.
I sponsored my husband and he has not received PR yet. So I counted him in Q5 part ii)

In additional family information form (imm5406e) if the person is dead (for e.g, my father and parents of my mother whom I am sponsoring), what do I chose for Marital status ?
"Married-physically present" OR "Not applicable-deceased"
