Whether your spouse is accompanying you or not, you still have to include him or her in the application. ( Ircc knows that people change their mind anytime) that is why you have to submit medical & police cert for your spouse whether accompanying or not. As for EE your score is calculated with that of your spouse if you are married whether accompanying or not. If your married and you state on your profile that your single that's misrepresentation and you can never sponsor your spouse.

I didn't mention that I am single. I mentioned that I am married but spouse is not accompanying as 40 points for spouse brought my crs from 438 to 407. I have sent all forms including the spouse and stating that spouse is not accompanying yet. Before twice my express entry case was filed with accompanying spouse but last year I unaccompanied and CRS increased and got NOI. Hopefully will get nomination.

Another question, after getting nomination can I change my express entry profile before I get ITA that spouse is accompanying like you can add children as well. If anyone has any idea about that

Nomination: Hopefully soon

Getting a little worried, as no acknowledgement/ file number yet. Hopeful !
