Hey guys ,
I really need your help! !!!!
I am pnp, my AOR was sep 2018, I provided additional documents on oct (ielts for my wife as a second applicant) and we did mistake and put the academic ielts instead of general and after 7 month the additional documents is still under review,
I have already ordered note but after 41 days I haven't received yet, I sent an email and call a couple of times and agents said everything is OK and in order and your eligibility is still under review,
So my question is how we could know if we refuse? Because we made a mistake, I will really thankful if someone can help.
Do not be worry, if you were supposed to be refused you were ar the dirst 90 daysmaximum. As they review your provided documents before assigning an office.
Hello,
Can you give me more info, what was the ADR? Was the mistake in the ADR or the ADR was for the correcting the mistake? Have you previously applied for GCMS notes? How do you know that you are RR? Put your timeline in your signature. From your description, I get the impression that you did mistake in the ADR.
Even though I agree with @canadalover2018 that most rejections happen early in the applications, I have to warn you that your case might get complicated.
if you don't have the proper language, it is possible that they recalculate your points without the language and then you fall below the cut-off, hence rejection.
What I recommend you is that if you don't want to leave the decision to chance, take another English test (the correct one). Make sure the points is the same or even better than the other one so that if they recalculate your points, you don't fall below the cut-off. And then submit that English result through a CSE. This is the safest option that you have.

Edit: After seeing other posts, I realized that you may not have problem with points to be above the cut-off, but you may end up in trouble as you don't have the minimum requirement. I still recommend you to take the exam one more time and re-submit the doc. However, you don't have to have a very good results as you already have enough points. As long as you are above the minimum requirement, that is enough.

Don't worry about refusal as they are fast and not shy about it, you wont get refused for this one as you are PNP and with 600 points given you are well above threshold even if they dont accept your wife ielts. this slows down your process for sure and just hang in there.
please update your signature with timeline so better educated guesses can be provided by this forum.
From the points perspective, you are right, the applicant is well above threshold. But, the problem is that the English results are minimum requirement to be able to enter the pool. So not having proper language results may make the whole points and entry to the pool questionable. @Yellowmp

1.The ADR was for my wife's ielts and we put academic which I think that is our mistake as they still review our additional document after 7 month.
2.No, I have just applied in march 14th and still haven't received yet. But sent email and they replied "every things are in order and if you haven't received any information or decision till April 21st contact us again "
3.So, I called and agents told your eligibility is still under review and criminality is passed and security hasn't started yet.
4.I am a pnp and have 950 points and my wife's ielts is just an additional doc we put and not require for our application.
So, what do you think now? Do you think we should still need to put ielts?
I really appreciate your help.

Actually, I am pnp and a main applicant with 950 point and my wife's ielts is not the requirements to enter the pool.so it was our mistake and we shouldn't put her ielts at all.
So, what do you think now? Do you think it is probable to refuse even after 7 month?
I really appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you very much for the info. I didn't know that.
I think what usually happens is that they perform a completeness check to see is your docs are complete or not. Maybe that is the stage where they pass your medical and request for bio. I don't know. Others any thought? @arash2002 is the only outland applicant that I know. Arash if you are still around here, how long it took to pass the medical? Did you do biometric? Could you provide us some insight about these. Thansk
Hello everyone
@Mr_nobody, I am still around here, although I am busy these days. I am attending various pre-arrival programs and various webinars these days. That's why I'm visiting this forum less frequent than before.:)
Anyway, I think my medicals took 10 days to pass. However, I can check my gcms notes if the exact duration is needed.
Since my AOR was 5 june 2018, I was not requested to do biometrics. It became mandatory for AORs which were after 31 July 2018.

Are you sure that it is not minimum requirement? Then why did they ask for it? It's strange!
Anyways, if it is not required, then you don't have to worry, as it does not reduce any point and is not required for application. They will just review it and if not acceptable, they will tell you. They won't reject a person for a non-required document.

Thanks. I hope you receive the golden email very soon. Yes, there is a lot of works to do in terms of things to learn especially for those who are outside of Canada. About the visa pick up, you should use the services of travel agencies to take your passport to the VFS and bring it back along with COPR letter because taking your passport to a neighboring country is neither economically reasonable nor practical. It may take up to one month for the visa stamped on your passport and during this time, you cannot return back to Iran! Good luck:)

Congrats, from what I learn so far, ghost update is generally a good sign. I recall you were changing employment and were about to raise CSE, do you mind if I ask if you ended up uploading any new ref. letter?
