I was on maternity leave 2018. Was that considered EI?
I don’t know for sure as it does not apply to me. People here said that maternity leave includes in 150 line on the tax return but if I were you I would confirm it on the official Canada immigration website

Just a clarification: The form imm0008depenu is only to be filled when i run out of space to fill in dependents in the imm0008enu_2d? I just have my mom as primary applicant and father as dependent and i have already entered their information in imm0008enu_2d?
Yes correct. Only fill out IMM0008.

No need for documents. The guideline is not asking for any of your parent's diploma or something. You just need to fill out the form.
So if someone has a govt. position , that person has to click yes in govt. position question.
Does that person has to provide nay copy of govt id. just for clarification?

This question is for applicants whose parents are in Canada now during application. Since they are exempt from Bio metrics for now, do we still pay bio metric fees? Or can we apply without Bio Metric fees?

Make sense.
I have question if parents dont have marriage certificate wat else we can attach???pls reply
Your parents need to make an affidavit and need to include an explanation letter for the reason of missing marriage certificate. Notary public will have all the required information for marriage certificate affidavit.

One more rejection means one less competitor.

Why would you help your competitors?
Watch out people. We have people here who purposely respond with incorrect answer so that your application is rejected !!! If you are not sure about something please call ircc. Double check things with lawyers or consultants.

I dont want to name people who are creating confusion in the forum purposely. Just watch out everyone.

Ask for links from ircc website to double check

It’s 85$... Just pay them, the IRCC Twitter has repeatedly stated that they are opening collection centres in Canada this year

My best advice is to read the instruction guide thoroughly because 100% of the answers are there, but people are too lazy to do that and would rather trust the word of someone here

The most hilarious comment for me was that you can’t sign with blue ink , even though if you do a quick search (ctrl + F) on the instruction guide for the word “blue” there are no mentions. I sponsored my wife, applied for her CSQ and applied for my citizenship and all the application forms were signed with blue ink and they were approved

Can we get the affidavit from here in Canada on parents' behalf while they are in their home country?
No, that’s what i wanted to do. But my consultant said its not possible. And my parents ate Indian citizen but living in Spain. They had very hard time getting it done in Spain as nobosy knows about these things there. We managed it somehow at that time.
Then last year my parenta were here in Canada, and i went to a notary with my mom and dis it here (for future), which I am going to use now.
Your parenta shoukd make it from home country if they are living there at this moment.
If the country is India (assuming), its very easy to get it from there.
I hope that helps.

Why would you add your wife as co-signer? There's no need if you meet the income requirements as the qualification for the PGP 2019 is your income from 2016, 2017 and 2018. Even if the processing takes a year, they wouldn't consider your 2019 income.

Adding her wouldn't hurt,but that's just my 2 cents.
Income has to be maintained till the case is disposed off for 2019 And may be 2020 so....

You do not have to provide proof of government job unless it is asked to submit the proof if clicked yes.

Is it mandatory to have been in canada for last 3 years as a Permanent Resident to show returns that meet the financial requirement?
I moved to canada late last year and started my job in Jan this year, I very well meet the criteria for funds but what can I do to prove that I meet them since I’ve never filed taxes in Canada?
