My birth certificate and marriage certificate are in my native language. Many years ago when I applied for PR, I got notarized copies of these documents with English translation in my home country. Now I only have one original notarized copy for each certificate. And it is extremely difficult to obtain new notarized copies back home due to special circumstances. My question is: Can I submit photocopies of these notarized copies in the application?

Thank you

I'm going to get my package back from Canada Post Monday morning before it's sent it. Don't want to risk the application being returned as imcomplete or inaccurate.

Canada post does not give packages back if they already accept it
I dealt with them before and this is their policy.

You can get certified translation here in Canada if you are in Canada. I am highly doubtful if they will accept a photocopy of translation. I contacted the local individual for certified translation and i was told $80 for my birth certificate translation .

i used Docsbase for certified translation, $36 for translation, $15 for notarizing

Question 14 what should be in Gross Income/Benefits Paid? How do you calculate for different jobs?
Also for current job they ask until Present. Do you calculate pay as of today?

They allowed my friend to take back his citizenship package the other day. It had not been picked up yet. It's worth a try.

Can anyone check if this is correct values for the form.
I am sponsoring my Widow Mother.
My Wife is co-sponsoring her Parents (Mother and Father)
We do not have Children.
Total Family Size: Me(1) + Wife(1) + My Mom (1) + My Wife's Parents(2) = 5.
I am sure Total count is fine but the values I put in the form are correct or not.

u dnt have to calculate. Check your pay stub its got year to date income.
That's my question though. Do I have to Put in income as of Today's date when i am submitting the docs?
I.e, I am working since 2015 with same company, So Is it Total income 2015+2016+2017+2018 or just current year?

NOTE TO MYSELF AND TO EVERYONE HERE.

DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION IN A HURRY/RUSH.....

Please read your application again and again, have somone to look at it again and again to assure everything is in order and complete. Rushing to send it in a month earlier will not help much with your processing time.

I am reminding myself every day that this is my only chance to get my parents here, no need to rush, no need to hurry, allow 1 month to fill out, complete, check and check.

It is sad to see someone sending application so fast within a couple of days and now taking the risk of application returned and lose the chance to bring parents to Canada.

Good luck to all of us!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no education documents of my parents, shall I leave education section blank.
Please suggest.

So I worked from Aug-2016 to Aug-2018 for an employer "W"
From Aug-2016 to Dec-2016 I made 40,000
From Jan-2017 to Dec-2017 I made 120,000
From Jan-2018 to Aug-2018 I made 80,000

SO I wrote it as below
