hi. I have a question. I’m about to apply for my pr and my husband has child from his previous relationship. I want to declare the child as non accompanying but they are not complying for the requirements needed for dependent child.
Do I still need to declare the child or just put in Additional Family Members form? And not in GEneric Form? Thank you so much!

Are you applying for your own PR (meaing your husband is sponsoring you), Or both of you are applying for PR (him as your dependant).

If your husband's child is not included in the application he will not be able to sponsor him/her in the future. I think you should post to the forum related to the program you are applying to. There might be people who can share their experiences with you

you need to become pr yourself, before you are able to sponsor your husband.
