It’s been a while since I updated my timeline. This is because my husband had a problem with his medical (he has history of TB) so they found scar in his lungs. He had to undergo sputum test for 3 consecutive days and he had to go back for 2nd xray.

Application sent: August 18, 2018
Application received: August 24, 2018
Received AOR1: November 16, 2018 (Sponsor’s Email)
Received medical request: November 22, 2018 (Applicant’s Email)
Received Sponsorship Approval: November 26, 2018
Undergone medical: December 3, 2018
Took sputum test for 3 consecutive days: Dec 11-13, 2018 (Asked to wait for sputum culture result and go back for 2nd Xray on March 11)
Received Request for Additional Document (New Passport for Applicant): December 12, 2018
Sent requested document: January 12, 2019
2nd Xray: March 11, 2019 (Was told to receive email confirmation)
Medical passed - status updated in GCkey: March 21, 2019

No updates received until then. PA is from Philippines and I don’t know when his papers will be transferred to Manila Visa Office. I guess this is another long wait.

1. 1. We received Amr application for permanent residence on September 24, 2018.
   2. We sent Amr correspondence acknowledging receipt of Amr application(s) on March 11, 2019.
   3. We started processing application on March 11, 2019.
   4. We sent Amr a letter on January 10, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
   5. We sent Amr medical instructions on January 12, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
   6. Medical results have been received.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply in fact I have a gcKey but I used a representative to submit my application in Canada and the only way to check my status on the cgKey is that if I cancel his authorization therefore I could not do it while still in process, but my question would be in the online status they did not mention anything about the file being transferred to the visa office or even that they have started the BGC as I have seen from a lot of members here that they got such updates so do I get such updates in the online or only from the cgKey?

I'm unfamiliar with ecas. Gckey provides the steps of where at. Bgc ect. But I THINK bgc starts after medical. The sponsorship process takes around 12 month from when you applied.

Aug 17 applicant. Background check started 4 March. Almost 2 months into background check, no update since. Oh, I am worried that im in SS.
