hey folks, any idea on how many candidates, on an average, would be there in betn the score 448-450 in the EE pool, just trying to understand the number since we have clear idea of the 450+ candidates.

As per the data shared by CIC in the previous draw, "on April 12 the number of applicants with 441-450 in the pool, was 4410". So, it is precise after that in the mean time, this figure would have further increased, by adding 400-500 more files into the pool.

Prediction for May 1:
CRS Draw: 450
ITAs: 3350/3500
Tier Breaker: 1st Week of March (tentative)
Hey Nitin,
It's interesting to see how confident we have become in predicting a cut-off. Forget about a variable on the crs cut-off score, you predicted a tie-breaker. The thing which is bothering me is the number of 450+ candidates entering into the pool. They have been changing from 184 to 234 in the past couple of draws.

Cheers,
Suraj

If the rate of 234 is maintained then CRS will never drop below 451. Are we all with less than 450 doomed?

Keep the faith! We are not very far from here. It's unlikely to be screwed from all the angles, there must be a way out.
In the extreme cases, which is unlikely: Let's say if the rate is 234, still, we have 74 ((3350)-(14*234=3276)) ITAs. The backlog would be around 40-50 which should bring the cut-off to 450.
I hope there will be not only a decrease in the rate of 450+ candidates but also an increase in the ITAs.

Cheers,
Suraj

these rounds of invitations are brutal. I started this out super confident. I've even advised my husband against sitting for the TEF or doing an EDE ! now I've witnessed two rounds of invitations with a minimum score of 451 ! i'm 1 point shy of an ITA and i only have myself to blame. After the last round i decided not to leave anything to chance and signed my husband up for the TEF however the results can take up to 2 months ! do you think i jumped the gun by paying for a pricey additional test to improve my score when i'm already so close ?
