@bago4c it just gives me anxiety that almost 10 months, when I call the 1888 number it states BGC has not started which I believe can take 3-4 months additional.

Trust me, I know exactly what you mean. I send IRCC emails every now and then, even contacted my MP. They all gave the same response: WAIT! The only comfort I have now is that I've seen a couple of people whose background checks were completed within one-two days. The frustration of waiting is killing.

No, I didn't, which makes it way more frustrating. They just keep saying our "application is in the queue for review." It'll be 10 months in 2 weeks!

Yah, I sent a query last week to Sydney Australia to confirm if they received the additional documents. All they confirmed is Yes and an officer has YET to review it, its in the queue for review.

Same timeline--July 9 applicant. No update since medical request on December 18 (passed 26). Background check hasn't started yet either.

It has been almost 10 months now, our BackGround check has not started. Medical passed Dec 27, 2018. Provided additional documents. Should I be worried? Anyone else in the same boat for BGC?

My applicant's medical was done in December and after that no message from SVO.

mine was done in March and there is no news after medical
Your seems even longer. Have you contacted them ?? there is a singapore timeline which you can follow too...

That is true, some have their BGC within one to two days ... let us keep waiting be in prayer.. we are in the same line am also 10 month , my BGC is 3 month now and everything is quiet .. am very sure that most July application we get a lot of good new next month when our Aplication get to 11 month ..
