Hello,
Please I made my submission in respect of a visiting visa to Canada on the 18th 2019 it's been one month and one week now I haven't received any email or sms from VFS although I was told it takes only four weeks for my form to be processed. How do I know if my application was denied?

Where did you applied from? I submitted my file on 15th of march at VFS lahore gave the biometric also on the same date received one mail about biometric on 27th of march and after that didn’t got any update till now
 
By hand and yes, my passport was with my file when I submitted and I also did my biometrics that same day
