So to answer a few questions.

I am CEC Outland.

I got a “do not reply” email in my inbox which said here was an update to my application.

My background check, eligibility statuses hadn’t changed, all I had was a message called “request letter” which asked for my passport.

No dependants, just me by my lonesome.

Highly unlikely, a very long shot, next to an impossible scenario. What happens if someone gets the PPR but misses the update and not able to send the Passport within 30 days?

I am pretty sure you can find the request letter in the CIC portal. And if you're impatient like me and check the portal 5 times a day, you are very likely going to notice the request letter.

Hey Guys,

Just got my PPR today (April 23rd 2019). My AOR was February 7th 2019.

Just a heads up to all those who have Passports expiring soon, there was a condition in my Passport request letter saying that there needs to be 12 months of validity at the time of receiving this letter.

Good luck to everyone! Its only a matter of time!
Congratulations!!!

Did you face any issues for your passport? My passport expires in Dec 2019. I was told it needs to be valid for 6 months from the application date. Can you suggest what I can do to avoid any issues?

I called CIC and asked the agent, she was very polite and helped answer all my questions.
