Depending on where u applied LMIA at the processing time differs.. BC takes longer at this point.
You can check your NOC number through Google, that clarifies what classification you fall in.
Also , IF u fall un the 10 days bracket and ur application hasn't been updated for the past 3months atleast, my advice is talk to your MP in that area, they would ask you to tell your employer to call them before they can help u out.. they would call immigration office directly and if one of your documents is not been filled properly or something is wrong they can update your employer to submit extra documents.. this is what ususally happens if you haven't heard anything yet after having your file number...

Note all this is just from experience....
Am still in the cue as well...
I tell you, the MP those a whole lot than you can ever imagine...

Can anyone help me out with my doubts

1. Does service canada inform the employer before conducting the interview
2. If yes, generally how many days prior the interview they intimate the employer
3. In visitor visa extension, if a person gets 6 months extension, 6 months start from the date when the visa expires or the from the date of decision

Thanks in advance for your support

PNP
G'day hopefuls,

My LMIA timeline so far:

Dual intent submitted by fax Friday 5 Apr 19, hardcopy by registered post arrived 8 Apr 19. (St John)
NOC 2271, demand occupation for BC, FSW outland.

Fee deduction and file number unknown at this stage.

Employer received call from Service Canada on 24 Apr 19.

One hour call focused mainly on differences in job requirements between Jobbank ads and other ads, as well as other "concerns". The line agent said she was going to discuss with her supervisor and he/she would call again tomorrow. Over all said it was "unlikely". Bugger....

I'll update when the final call is made, but it does seem that 10 day service for express entry PR LMIAs is being honoured for those in that stream.

Hopefully the BC PNP that I also have going gets less flak.

Cheers.

Hi

Can some advise me on this .My lawyer and employer applied for LMIA

20 Jan, 2019: submitted the documents to st John.
15 March: service Canada sent me the payment receipt and LMIA file number
with in 5 days of charging the payment.
20 March: they sent letter mentioning that application has cancelled - Service Canada has not mentioned any reason.

I spoke to my lawyer, he mentioned nothing to worry and he has escalated the matter and and file is still in progress

can someone guide me on this. Now what's going to happen.

appreciate, guidance on this.

There is nothing your lawyer can do once application is deemed as cancelled. My employer had also received two cancelled response and one negative result.

If your employer is willing to try again, make sure all errors are fixed before submitting new application otherwise most likely you will receive negative result.

Thanks-

they have not mentioned the reason for the cancellation of application,. Though my documents are 100% correct. they should mention the reason- so that we can rectify and correct. this is very strange.
