AOR Nov 14th and I am still waiting. Last time I requested the notes back in Feb it was almost exactly like yours but Security shows "not started"

I don't have access to my account because I am doing my application through an agent. Last time I checked with him my account was showing same as yours. My notes as of Feb 27th was showing they have not touch my file since Jan 31st. So, I can say my BG is in progress since late January. Also, I called IRCC on Apr 3rd, my BG was still "in progress".

What I have learned from other threads is that BG check includes Criminality and Security check.

We are processing your background check. I have had that status for monthssss. So far I have learned in this forum that means nothing. The GCMS notes or calling IRCC will give you a more accurate info of your status.

Yep, I would say since early February. And I am not sure why they are so slow, maybe there are not enough officers or maybe they are specialized in other type of applications like sponsorships, visa or study permits. Nobody knows...
