one more quick question, i recived the PCC request as message in GC key, no email revived . Earlier I received the medical request through the email. Aftre medical done, them i linked the application to GC key. Maybe that's why i am not getting anymore emails like before. Like i said before, i have uploaded the PCC through GC key and the status is reviewing . Also i send a scanned copy of the PCC to Ottawa, two days before, But yesterday i received mail from Ottawa telling that, they could not open the PCC since it does not meet the requirement. But this same file got uploaded in the GC key. Anyway, i send them the PCC again a reply to the email which i received. lets see what happens. i send the scanned copy just to make sure they get everything on time. any thoughts from your side ?? tnx in advance...
check if you can download the form. the doctor needs the number on the form to book appointment for you.

Hello guys,

Here's the timeline:
App. received - sept 11,2018
medical - march 26, 2019
Current status - medical recieved

I am having issue linking my application using GC key. Everytime i try to link, I get a message that we found no applications.

I have not received any email for PCC yet. I am really worried if i got any request in my GC key account.

I have tried calling customer care, but it didnt connect to any agent.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a specific guideline which should have been communicated in the email (or official form for PCC). Not entirely sure whether this differs per LVO, but mine (Manila) says following when you are submitting PCC through email:

• Do not use an icloud domain or any file sharing websites
• Each document must be in PDF format (.pdf) and not exceed 2.0MB
• Each PDF file must contain only one type of document. If several documents/forms are requested,
save each type of document separately. For example, if you were requested to submit completed
IMM5406 Additional Family Information forms for yourself and your spouse, your completed
form must be saved in one (1) .PDF file extension name and your spouse’s in another PDF file
• If your submission includes a cover letter, this must be saved separately in one (1) PDF file
• Documents must be readable and easy to view
• The file name of each PDF document must follow this format:
Application number<space>Last Name<space>Given Name<space>Type of Document
Example: E12345678 Smith John Additional Family Information form

I've done initially through MyCIC, then followed up with email as I was kind of late for one or two days in MyCIC account, explaining why as well.

Hope this helped.

Hi Everyone - I need some information regarding my parents PR application. It is being processed at London Office and my parents are based in Pakistan. Below is a timeline of medical and police certificate.

1. We received application for permanent residence on November 6, 2017.

2. We started processing application on May 11, 2018.

3. MEDICAL: We sent medical instructions on July 23, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

4. MEDICAL: Medical results have been received.

5. POLICE CERTIFICATE: We sent correspondence on November 15, 2018. If has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have so as soon as possible. Please wait until receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I want to know...
1) what are the next steps and what steps are remaining?
2) How long it will take to get PR from this point on?

Thanks a lot!

Hello, I got an appointment for landing with CIC Edmonton on May 7. Here is the part of the email that we received.

Please bring the following documents for you, and your family members if applicable:
- Original passport
- Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) Documents
- Original temporary resident document
- Your sponsor and their Identification (if applicable)
- This email confirmation

Question: Does the sponsor (myself) need to accompany my parents for this appointment or do they just need my picture ID? It is unusual, in my opinion, to ask for the Sponsor to accompany the parents.

I have an urgent appointment and I cannot make it on that day, if I have to accompany my parents. Please provide your views.

I dont see this state or imply anywhere that determination is based on home country or current address.
Agreed with Atif.Ayub. I applied for my parents and they were in Canda at the time of application. Their application was sent to CPC-Ottawa. Maybe it is different for different countries (or maybe a random selection).

The PDF file which i sent was readable..(i tried sending them to different emails) and all were able to open and read it. My file size is just 154 KB only and there is only one file attached to the email. I dont know why they could not read it...any way my GC account already have my PCC. hopefully i will get a reply for my second email to Ottawa, within few days. Tnx for the advice...

Yes, I have tried different family sizes . Me and my husband are sponsporing parents, so I tried adding 2,3,4 as family size. but nothing works.
Make sure all information exactly same as passport, not what you put on application. I didn't realise my mum's passport birthplace was province, not actual city she was born. took me forever to link till I found that
