If you look at the trend for application for BOWP, you can see how the increase in the processing of express entry is influencing the processing time of BOWP. In fact, the processing time for BOWP has been constantly increasing. The time that I applied it was 67 days. Then, it increased to 81, 84, and now 89 days. I think this increase is due to the increase in the processing of PR. As a result more applicants need to apply for BOWP, hence longer processing time.
But the question is, do they really procees it within 89 days?
Or these timelines are just typical as PR processing 6 months timeline

Hi,

I lodged my case on 19June,2018. It is almost 10 months with no update . I applied GCMS notes in January and as per them there is nothing to worry about. They were last updated on July 25th and almost everywhere it was mentioned “seems to met” and in RPRF column it was written “ready to finalise” and after that there is no update in the application. I am really worried about it as my whole career is dependent on this . I did my Ielts in September 2017 and luckily cleared it in the first attempt by scoring 8.5,7.5,7.5,7.5 but after that every step took longer than usual time period. I am too much stressed and depressed. Kindly drop suggestions to get out of this messy situation. Thanks!

when was your first med expired? Mine is getting expired on 19th april :(
Mine expires on May 11. But that's not a gauge on when or if you will get a re-medical request. There are people who have got extensions, and some who have received re-medical request after expiry of initial medicals.

All depends on when the officer picks your file and realizes your medical is about to expire.

Ohhh, well in my case, the things have been stagnant. I don’t know when and how things will be happening? Its tough time .
Yes and no. In most cases left from April, May, June, things have been stagnant. And most cases are as straightforward as yours, per GCMS. Mine was too...

Just keep following up once every 10 days.

Actually, I applied through immigration company WWICS and they are most unprofessional people. I would never recommend them to anyone, not even my enemies. They are least bothered about my case. My case is being represented by their lawyer, so I cannot even check the status of my application on my own. So could anyone tell me , how do we get to know if our case is in IP2 stage? As per my knowledge if your background check status changes from “work in progress “ to “we are processing “ , it means you have entered ip2 stage? Is it like this? Correct me, if i am wrong.

I am still in ip1 stage . Actually I am not clear about it because I Cannot access my file status on my own. As per the latest screenshot of my file status, my background check is still in progress, so that means I am in IP1 stage since I received AOR.

I did not pay my RPRF amount while lodging the case as my agents told that we can pay when they will ask us to pay. But it has been 10 months with no update. I was thinking to pay RPRF without waiting for them to ask... Can I do that? Has anyone did this thing? Please share your experiences.

I just got an email by my agent. He sent me the link on which i can pay them the RPRF amount. I was just worried thinking that it should not effect my case negatively by paying on my own without asking them. But my agent assured that there is no problem in doing that but i dont believe them as they have been very unprofessional in the past . I just wanted to know other ppl’s experiences with such things.
