My apologies. I am not sure what a CSE means. could you please shed some light on it? Basically I am applying with the help of a well known agent in my city and he says that creating a new EE profile would be a better solution. He also said that he will write to the IRCC telling them about this issue and that they should reconsider our profile. (Most probably by this it means that he is appealing) Also, now that my application is rejected and if I give them the additional supporting documents like you mentioned, how likely is it that I get a positive response from their end?
Also, if I appeal what would the timeline for it be? Or to be exact, when will I be able to get to the phase in which I was before I got the rejection letter?

I made a separate thread about this but I am asking here again as I am still jittery about this:

The CIC Office personnel marked my A 11.2 as met but also noted R 76 and Funds review required ..

However two days later my file was transferred to VO Ottawa where the elegibility was made met the same day.

Bottom line being that my page of notes says met. I am very confused.

What do Note 1 and Note 2 say?

What did you submit for POF?

Note 3 is weird... it should have notes on the POF documents but these are absent.

A question...
If, at the time of AOR, you have the required amount of money (equivalent in Canadian Dollars) in your bank account, is that the figure they take?
Or what happens if there is a severe economic downturn in your country which lowers the exchange rate which impacts on the Canadian Dollar equivalent?
Eg. At time of AOR I have ZAR160,000 and the exchange rate is ZAR10 = CAN1, therefore I have CAN16,000 and the requirement is CAN15,531 (enough funds).
A few months pass waiting, let's assume an economic downturn. The exchange rate drops to ZAR12 = CAN1.
Therefore, ZAR160,000 = CAN13,333 which is now lower than the required amount.
What would happen in this case?

Send multiple CSE's or emails if the size is more,.. I don't see any problem if you cannot send everything at once. Break it up and send multiple CSE's or emails..take second opinion from others too.. for confirmation..
What advice are you looking for exactly? In arranging the documents or in uploading the documents within the stipulated file size?

Ok we have gathered all documents except

1. Salary slips for 2011 and 2012 as they are not available. But we have got bank statements for these years showing salary deposit.

2. Tax return statements for 2011 and 2012 as he did not filed returns because of no taxable income.

3. All documents scanned to lowest quality and still it is 8 MB.

Now seeking advise on the above mentioned shortfalls.

Hello Guys, sad news for me. A refusal! For the most ridiculous reason.

The case officer checked the latest bank statement but did not check the attached Fixed Deposits. Below is the reason. Can someone help me? Appeal? Reapply? How much time will it take?

"In your Express Entry profile, as proof of funds, you submitted a notarized Gift Deed which indicated that Rs. 10,00,000 was transferred into your State Bank of India Account. I note that bank statements were not provided. On April 5, 2019, our office requested bank statements from the State Bank of India account. In response, you submitted the State Bank of India account statement, which shows the deposit and subsequent withdrawal/transfer of the Rs. 10,00,000 from your account. The ending balance on March 29, 2019, was Rs. 41,064.03, or rather, CAD $791.35"
I will suggest to appeal the decision as your statement must be showing withdrawal towards FD. This is nothing but misunderstanding to the officer who rejected your file. In my opinion you stand a good chance if the FD still stands on your name.

Write a short LOE for 1 & 2.

Split them into 2-3 files logically (e.g. bank statements in 1st, returns in 2nd, stubs in 3rd). Include cover letter in the file you attach in placeholder mentioning that remaining files are sent via CSE due to file size limitations.

I think you are fine, VO will review and see everything is ok. Usually if there is some issue like POF amount is short, the case processing oficers writes a line indicating so.

What would happen in this case?
The exchange rate on the day which the visa officer checks your file is taken. That is why one should always show amount above the required POF to account for exchange rate fluctuations and submit updated POF documents in case the submitted POF amount dips below the required amount.

I am sorry to hear about your rejection.

I noticed you also posted this in a FB group and that you mentioned that you didn't submit any bank letter, which is probably why your case was rejected.

When the officer sent you an ADR, he was giving you a chance to show in your bank balance adequate funds.

You can't expect a VO to be aware of different types of investment instruments in 180-odd countries in the world. You should have provided a bank letter, as required by IRCC, stating the amount in FD, that it can be liquified any time, that it is free of any liens etc.

As such, I think there is little to be gained by appealing. Better you focus on re-applying. I would also suggest firing your consultant, who advised you very badly.
