when I was submitting the application.. a friend told me to pray that my file lands in Ottawa VO as it is the fastest.. he received his COPR within a month when he submitted his application in Dec 2017..
oh why oh why did I pray for Ottawa....

For those who got to know their application is approved from a CIC agent, can you please tell the exact question you asked ? I somehow feel I cannot get them to look into my file and tell me what's happening.

I dont think so agents on calls always give true information about files

I want to believe that too. But so far I have had no movement at all in my file since medicals. Its like I'm staring at a black hole.

So I really need to see something happen before I can start believing the agent could be wrong.

Just ask if your Eligibility, Criminality and Security is completed. Previously they used to say that Security is pending. Now its approved and waiting for PPR.

same here.. Ottawa hasn't touched my file as well since it moved from Edmonton on 28th November.. as per my gcms generated on 6th March Eligibility and Security didn't even start..

Really don't understand how they can keep some files lying around in dust for months while they send PPR to files that were sent in later.

Exactly... Not anxiety.. it's concern.. lucky are those who got through within 2-3 months.

tell me about it. People getting it in 2-3 or even 4 months are the luckiest.

Just called immugration last week. They confirmed that everything for me has passed except security has not started. AOR is October 5th, fsw outland, on gckey site its still pretty generic like everyone else which says eligibility in progress (officer confirmed I already passes). Just call them if you want peace of mind I guess. Only when officer says eligibility not started should you order gcms note. My wait on the phone was 20 mins, pretty standard.
How long do you guys reckon the security check take?

I think if your application is at background check then u should wait for few more days
As my background check started on 18th March but still i m waiting for their response
